Our supervision meetings with teachers in schools are designed to support professional development and reflection for the improvement of teaching. They are structured to provide teachers with the opportunity for in-depth exploration of their pedagogical practices, identification of strengths, and the formulation of plans for enhancing areas in which they seek improvement. These sessions typically last from 120 to 180 minutes.

    Supervision meetings include:

    1. Individual supervision sessions: Each teacher has the opportunity for an individual meeting with a professional supervisor. This provides a private and confidential environment where teachers can share their challenges, reflect on their teaching, and receive expert guidance and feedback. Supervisors are available for individual discussions at the end of group supervision sessions.

    2. Group supervision sessions: In addition to individual meetings, we also organize group supervision sessions where teachers discuss common challenges, exchange experiences, and learn from each other's authentic sharing. Group dynamics encourage collaboration, empathy, and co-creation of new solutions. These sessions take place within school development groups.

    3. Reflection and self-help: Our supervision is based on reflection and encourages teachers to engage in self-help to improve their teaching. By gradually understanding their own patterns and approaches, teachers gain deeper insights into their work and opportunities for growth and development.

    4. Sustainable support: Supervision meetings are not isolated events; they are a sustainable process that offers continuous support and monitoring of teachers' progress. Our supervisors are available for further questions and support, helping teachers maintain consistency and sustainable growth.

With supervision meetings, our goal is to provide teachers with a safe and encouraging space to explore their work, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop new teaching strategies. We recommend two to three supervision meetings per school year with an external consultant.
